MICROSOFTXbox One Backwards Compatibility programs boost Microsoft 2017 games lineup and so will Conan ExilesThe Xbox One Backwards Compatibility has been gifted another four games this week by Microsoft.Having seen a splurge of new titles - six in total - launched last week, the tech giant followed it up with another on Thursday.While not quite as busy as the prior week, Xbox One gamers can now play Cars 2: The Video Game, Dead Rising 2: Case West, Dead Rising 2: Case Zero and Meet the Robinsons.These games were leaked a little early after Microsoft added them to the official BC completed list before their announcement.There is also the added bonus of Borderlands 2 being made available as a free download on Xbox One via the Games with Gold lineup.Xbox One users who already own Borderlands 2 - or any of the other Backwards Compatibility classics - will be able to insert their old discs and start playing immediately.Likewise, if you own the digital version of the game, you can download it from the My Games and Apps section of the dashboard.This week also saw another big piece of news arrive for those hoping to see other games boost the Xbox One 2017 games lineup.Conan Exiles has proved a massive hit on Steam Early Access and now has a set release window on Xbox One for the Summer.When Funcom first announced Conan Exiles for Xbox One, it was a teased as a Spring 2017 release, however, new financial reports from the company have revealed a delay.The game has already sold over 400,000 copies on PC and is likely to be a big release on Xbox One as well if ARK Survival Evolved is anything to go by.Another big piece of news supplied by developers Funcom is that the Conan Exiles PS4 version will not be arriving until early 2018.It means that Xbox One gamers will have nearly a full year to play the new survival title before their console rivals.That could prove a big boost for Microsoft as they look to improve on their current 2017 lineup.While PS4 fans have been treated to Horizon Zero Dawn, Galaxy Rush 2 and soon to be released Nier Automata, the biggest Xbox One exclusive this year so far is Halo Wars 2.Related articles

Sold 2m units on PS4 in a bit over 2 months.“Altogether this indicates that the potential number of sales in the first 2 to 3 years after the Early Access release on PC can be very high.“Future potential of the game is dependent on many factors, player and media reception of the game and the company are both factors investors should consider together with the potential the title has in its genre, together with its initial success and future full launch and launch on consoles.”Related articles
