Many villages across the area are preparing for elections, which will be held from noon to 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 21. Some villages have elections at other times of year or not annually.The village of Deposit had elections March 7, and Laurens village had balloting March 14.In Laurens, Robert Zack, a Democrat, was elected mayor, a two-year term, officials said, and Starr Liddle, a Democrat, was elected to serve a two-year term as trustee.
In Deposit, officials said two village trustee seats were on the ballot, one from the Deposit side and the other from the Sanford side of the village.
