Thousands of fans packed into U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday with high hopes for the Vikings second pre-season game.
“I want the Vikings to win, absolutely they've got to win,” said Barb LaFonde Carlson, who attended the game with her son, Daniel.
They are welcoming the new e-ticketing system at home games.
The Vikings mobile app.
“I like it, actually it's really easy,” Daniel LaFonde said. “I’ve got them on my phone, should be real easy to get in, just scan the barcode and you're ready to go.”

Printed tickets will no longer be accepted at home games. Fans will instead access their tickets through the Vikings app, or online via My Vikings Account.
“It’s the best thing ever,” said fan Denise Kellen. “You don't lose a ticket, you don't have to worry about forgetting a ticket, it's on your phone.”
Kellen pulled up her tickets in front of our cameras, and it took about 10 seconds.
“I already got an update this morning saying make sure your app is updated so I think they're already taking precautions,” Kellen said.
She told 5 EYEWITNESS News the alert came through the Vikings app.
Team officials say the new system will reduce fraud and counterfeit tickets, make it easier to transfer or sell tickets and improve the time it takes to get into games.
“Works out really nice, all of my tickets are all in one place,” said Andy Anderson, a season ticket holder from Greenfield, Minn. “I’ve been doing it a long time and I really like it for all of my sports events, concerts, everything.”
He shared advice for fans attending future home games.
“Make sure that code is up and it’s ready to go,” he said. “A lot of times people are ahead of you and then they're going to scroll through their phone and try to find it.”
When KSTP asked Anderson to pull up his tickets on his phone, it took several minutes.
“It’s really never done this before,” he said.
He wasn’t the only frustrated fan.
“Our app is frozen, we can't get into the game,” said one fan who was waiting in line.
She told us her tickets were loading for 10 minutes.
Designated ticket helpers walked around the crowd problem-solving.
KSTP asked Vikings officials for an interview but they declined and said they would be available on Sunday after they review the ticketing process and identify any issues.

The team told 5 EYEWITNESS News in June they would work to make sure fans without smartphones were able to get into games. They also said the change does not affect tickets bought on secondary markets like StubHub.
