The recent spate of police-involved shootings isn’t fueled by racism — it’s caused by video games, according to actor Tyson Beckford.
“We might have to send some cops back to training because this is a generation of the computer games and video games, so I think a lot of cops, when they hold their gun, they’re so trigger happy and want to use it instead of de-escalating the situation,” Beckford told TMZ. “And I think they need to learn more of that and less gun and use more Tasers and things of that nature.”
Beckford isn’t the only celebrity who is speaking out on the issue. NBA star Dwyane Wade also spoke about the rising animosity between cops and African-Americans.
