Jig for trout
Catch a trout to benefit Northern Little League. The trout pond is a yearly attraction at the show and gives anglers of all ages the chance to dip a jig into the water for a chance at a farm-raised rainbow. The cost is $5 and the Grand Rapids Steelheaders will fillet and bag your catch for you on site. Fish until you catch one! (Cory Olsen | MLive.com)
A coyote and turkey mount by Mac Zerlaut can be seen at the Michigan Taxidermist Association show upstairs at the show. The exhibit acts as a competition for the members of the association and taxidermists of all skill levels compete with around 250 entries of birds, deer, large game, fish and more. Admission to the taxidermy show is free with entry to the sport show. (Cory Olsen | MLive.com)
