Stanton Township voted yes to the special election ballot question:"Shall the county be permitted to issue Sunday sales intoxicating liquor licenses to establishments within Stanton Township?"The next step will include the county approving this motion. If approved, liquor stores within Stanton Township will have the option to remain open on Sunday.Most townships kept their levy amount the same, while a few saw a slight increase.The full results are listed below:Chad Ryan was elected supervisor with 14 votes and Bryan O'Neil was elected treasurer with 14 votes. The levy was unchanged at $153,000.Supervisor Alan Breuer and Treasurer Kevin Voth both won their re-election bids.The levy remained at $140,000.Ray Otto was re-elected supervisor and Mary Ann Maneval was re-elected treasurer. The levy will stay the same. Keith Mahoney also held onto his supervisor position in a special election.Supervisor Keith Allen and Treasurer Lynn Nelson were re-elected. The ballot question to change elections to be held in November also passed on the ballot.The levy was unchanged.Carl Bang was re-elected supervisor and Chuck Kinney was re-elected treasurer, both with 14 votes.The levy stayed the same at $170,000.Joe Ellingson lost his supervisor seat to write-in Janette Bruce by six votes. Thomas Gnotke was elected treasurer with 103 votes.The levy stayed the same.George Raasch was re-elected supervisor and Jesse Luhman was re-elected treasurer.The levy did not change.Susan Cushing was elected supervisor. Brad Kohlberg was re-elected treasurer. The levy was unchanged.Regan Melhouse was re-elected supervisor with 14 votes. The treasurer position currently filled by Larry Olson will be appointed. The levy increased five percent.William Budensiek was re-elected supervisor and Lois Scharpen was re-elected treasurer. The levy will not change.Richard Miller was re-elected supervisor and Kenneth Markson was re-elected treasurer. The levy increased to $180,000.Brian Hoven was elected supervisor and Sylvia Shelstad was elected treasurer, both with 13 votes. There were no other questions on the ballot.Bob Benson was elected supervisor and Mary E. Lundell was elected treasurer, both with 43 votes. For the ballot question, the sale of sunday alcohol passed 39-11. The levy was unchanged at $240,000.Mike Carlson was elected as supervisor and Alan Lindell was elected as treasurer.John Plehal was elected supervisor with 25 votes. Julie Hatch was elected for the clerk/treasurer position with 26 votes.John Hegseth will remain supervisor and Nancy Hegseth will remain treasurer. The levy will remain the same.Larry Madsen was re-elected supervisor and Diane McCorkell was re-elected treasurer.
