Their hit Netflix series 13 Reasons Why was just renewed for a second season.
And days after the announcement, Entertainment Weekly unveiled their latest cover, featuring the show's stars Dylan Minnette and Katherine Langford.
In the story, show runner Bryan Yorkey talks about the sensitive subjects the show touches on, which he said was 'a peek at what high school is like nowadays,' via Just Jared.

Bryan continued, adding that it was 'supremely important that we do everything we could to tell the truth.' 
According to EW, the series had 11 million tweets about it in April, making it the most tweeted about show this year. 
In the Entertainment Weekly story, Katherine, who plays Hannah Baker, told the publication that she thinks 'it's important that people are able to see the representations' of current issues teens face, with 'characters they can relate to.'

For the cover, Dylan, who plays Clay Jensen, posed with Katherine leaning against him with her leg slung over his. 
He kept it casual in a plaid shirt with dark jeans and a bomber jacket; his co-star Katherine looks stylish in her ruffled top with a motorcycle jacket. 
13 Reasons Why, which centers on a group of high school students, has had its share of controversy, due to its mature content including rape, bullying, sexual assault and suicide.

The show is based on the best-selling novel by Jay Asher, which was originally released in 2007.
Asher told EW that TV shows that can get people discussing sensitive topics that are 'uncomfortable,' is 'beautiful.'
The 13-episode Netflix series, which was released on March 31, was executively produced by Selena Gomez and Tom McCarthy.
Season two is set to premiere in 2018.
