For anyone who is a big Xbox One games fan, the next week could be very exciting, or disappointing.
It won’t be long before we find out what Microsoft has planned for their October Games with Gold lineup.
It can’t be denied that August and September have been good months for free Xbox One Games and hopes are high that the uptrend will continue.
Fans just got access to the full lineup of Games with Gold titles for this month, with Prison Architect and Livelock now available to download.

That’s without counting the two Xbox 360 games that can be played on Xbox One consoles; LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars and Sega Vintage Collection: Monster World.
But as always, a Games with Gold lineup can be great or rubbish, depending on your tastes.
While some see Prison Architect as an intriguing new distraction, others might have wanted something to follow up on the AAA title, For Honor.
So far there have been no hints or leaks to suggest what new titles will be part of Games with Gold October 2018.

Traditionally, Microsoft has announced their free Xbox One games roster before Sony; however, this format has changed a little in recent months.
Gold subscribers have been left waiting a little longer in both July and August, meaning we could see something like that for the Games with Gold October announcement.
And fans will probably be waiting a few days to find out the final roster of Xbox One and Xbox 360 games.
The last batch was revealed on August 28, means we might have to wait until Friday for the full details from Microsoft.
Until then, there’s always the chance of a leak or two popping up to give us an early idea.
This has happened numerous times in the past, with rogue online ads providing details before the big announcement.
Players will have the chance of adding Prison Architect to their Xbox Games Library until the end of the month.
The new Games with Gold titles will not replace it until Monday, October 1, so plenty of time to look at what’s available now.
For those who don’t know, Games with Gold offers free Xbox games to qualifying Xbox Live Gold members.

The program provides Gold members with free games every month, worth up to $700 per year, according to Microsoft.
Games with Gold is available to all Xbox Live Gold members, which can be redeemed from the Gold widget on the Xbox One home screen.
Titles can also be found if you download the Xbox One SmartGlass app, and go to the Microsoft Store and then page right.
When you select a game, it’ll be stored in your account and ready for download when you sign in to your console.
It should also be noted that new Games with Gold titles become available on the first and the sixteenth day of every month.
The new Games with Gold August 2018 lineup could be announced in the coming days, or, Microsoft may wait until next week before revealing what they have planned.
The current Games with Gold July 2018 lineup of games can be found below:
Prison Architect: Available September 1 to 30 on Xbox One
Livelock: Available September 16 to October 15 on Xbox One
LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars: Available September 1 to 15 on Xbox One and Xbox 360
