BANGKOK — You can either subscribe to AIS and watch it at home, or you can go out on Sukhumvit and watch it among other Bangkok-based fans.
As fantasy drama hit “Game of Thrones” returns in its seven-episode seventh season, Bangkok bar-alternative cinema Friese-Greene Club will screen the HBO show for fans every Monday.
Paul Spurrier, owner of the private cinema, said the venue will screen “Game of Thrones” at 8pm every Monday starting July 17 through Aug. 27 at all the three floors – from the top-floor big screen to the second-floor small living room as well as the bar area.
The screening is free but space and seating are limited. Attendance can be booked in advance online.
Game of Thrones in Thailand is only available via HBO on AIS Play service.
The Friese-Greene Club is located on Sukhumvit Soi 22. It’s a 10-minute walk from BTS Phrom Phong.
